Old Age

So!

I'm going to be 40 this year.

Yeah. It's no big deal really....

well, it wouldn't be if it weren't for these pesky wrinkles!

What the Heck???

I've used Oil of Ol'lady everyday for years.
I stay hydrated (12 Diet Coke's a day).

My Mom has a friend that has great skin. She has always used Vaseline as a moisturizer.

I am afraid that this would make my adult acne worse. (as if there is anything worse than an old lady with a zit face. I guess there is one thing worse- an old lady with stinky breath and zits)

What do you use to keep your skin lovely, and smooth?

I'm finally OVER Facebook...I found Twitter.

I have to admit that at first I thought it was really...well...stupid.

But now I'm an addict. It is fast, and fun!

I know it's not Sunday, but I couldn't help it....

In viewing the world and its prolems, I have often longed for the Savior to be here. I have wished for Him to bring peace to the troubled. I have wanted him to touch those that suffer from illness and make them whole. I have wanted to touch the hem of his robes.

I long for a Miracle.

Have you seen a Miracle?

I am seeing one now.

The Savior is in our lives, sending peace, healing the sick, answering prayers.

Miracles are around us still!

I am thankful for Miracles.

Cake

Pay no attention to the 24 candles on his cake...

He is really only 3 years old today.

He helped frost the cake, and put the candles on all by himself. I would show you the other side of the cake, but he has licked all of the frosting off of it.

For the Love....of fabric.

One of my favorite fabric designers is Kaffe Fassett. I think I fell in love with his style because he uses color like NoBody's Business.

It vibrates in my eyes!

Jackie, from Canton Village Quilt Works, has opened an online fabric store. She has a beautiful collection of Kaffe, and some bag patterns from a design company that I love...tee hee!

I was lucky enough to meet Jackie at Quilt Market. She met my Mom in line for Sample spree, and was nice enough to stop by and say "Hi!".
